University non-academic staff members will go on a two-day token strike, starting from today, making several demands, including a pay hike.
University Trade Union Joint Committee’s Co-Chairman Dhammika Priyantha said that the university non-academic members had written several letters to the higher education authorities explaining their grievances and as there had been no response to their letters, they would resort to union action, starting from todayWednesday (28).
