The Sri Lankan Rupee has appreciated against the US Dollar in commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (Feb 26), compared to last Thursday.
According to Peoples Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have dropped from Rs. 305.48 to Rs. 304. 99 and from Rs. 316.13 to Rs. 315.62, respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has reduced from Rs. 305.01 to Rs. 304.77, while the selling rate has also dropped from Rs. 315 to Rs. 314.75.
Meanwhile, at Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rates of the US Dollar have reduced from Rs. 306 to Rs. 305.50 and from Rs. 315 to Rs. 314.50, respectively. (NewsWire)
